This week we are testing the fuselage of our modified flying king in the wind tunnel to determine the co-efficient of drag calibrate the airspeed readings on our autopilot and determine the efficiencies of a number of propeller-motor combinations. We spent most of Friday setting up the plane, and we will be back in the tunnel on Monday to get the rest of the data we are looking for.
Getting to play in the largest wind tunnel in the southern hemisphere is just one of the perks of working with Monash UAS. Once again thanks goes to Monash for their support of our goals.
