We are looking for passionate, dedicated students who are ready to learn and apply hands on engineering in a team environment. No experience is necessary. Applications close in three weeks time, on the 9th of October.
Monash University recently held it's annual Open Day and we were very excited to take part in some of the activities that were happening on the day. Perhaps one of the most unique projects taking place was Future Burger Monash. This was an event organised by Monash University's Information Technology Faculty which saw Mr. Burger burgers being flown through the sky from one side of campus to the other on one of XM2 Aerial's UAVs. We were thrilled to have to opportunity to aid the operation and help show students and their families yet another application of UAVs.
The next UAV Challenge has been announced after the 2014 version was successfully completed.
Set to take to the skies in 2016, the next challenge has been dubbed the Medical Express, with Outback Joe in trouble again. However, this time he is stranded 10 km from the nearest town, where doctors desperately need a blood sample. To make matters worse, he is surrounded by flood waters as well as various obstacles.
